EdgeRank routes images through Cloudflare's global CDN, converts them to modern formats based on browser support, and injects width/height + lazy loading — without touching your image tags.
Images are typically 60–80% of total page weight. We auto-convert to WebP or AVIF based on what the requesting browser supports, resize to the actual rendered dimensions, and serve from the nearest CDN edge. Most sites see 40–70% smaller image bytes within hours of turning it on.
The Cloudflare worker handles this in flight, so existing <img> tags don't need to change. We also detect missing alt attributes and missing width/height (a Core Web Vitals CLS factor), then offer fixes through the Optimizer.
